  • Why won't Medicare cover the cost of your services?
    • Medicare was designed to cover acute care costs. It covers things such as hospitalization, skilled home nursing, physical therapy, speech, occupational therapy. It is not intended to cover long term care. If a patient has long term health insurance it may cover Liberty Private Care.
  • What is long term Health Insurance?
    • Long term health insurance is insurance that patients have bought and paid premiums on for years. It covers certain types of long term care. It will pay for nursing home coverage. It will cover in home care. Each policy is different in what it will cover. There is a payout time frame of 15 to 150 visits before it will cover the costs.
  • How do I get the insurance company to cover services?
    • The patient must contact the company and talk with a claims representative, or benefit specialist. An application must be made for benefits, obtain authorization, get a signed practitioner claim for services. This is usually the medical doctor. Private Care Services must complete a form that describes the services. All licenses must be submitted and updated each year.
  • What kinds of services do you offer?
    • We offer a broad variety of services to our patients. We provide hands on care to the patient. We can assist with bathing, oral care, transfer and mobility. We can provide meals, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, transportation, remind you of medical visits, medication management (pill boxes) and Geriatric Care Management.
